Refret Maple fret board. Complete fret replacement on a maple fret board, bound or unbound on an electric guitar neck. We will Remove the worn frets, clean out the fret slots, dress the top of the fret board as needed and instal the frets of your choice. Frets will then be dressed and polished. On a case by case bassis the nut may also need to be replaced which is an additional cost. There is also an $120 upcharge if you would like stainless steel Fret wire. On older Fender necks they would finish over the frets on the fretboard after they were installed, If this is the case the old finish has to be cut away from the old frets durring removal. There are times we can do this without having to do aditional finish work however, sometimes we may have to remove the old finish from the fret board to get a clean installation of the new frets and then refinish over the new frets as they would at the factory. The other option is finishing the fretboard first and then installing the frets over the new finish. Finishwork with a fret job is an additional $240
