This guitar has been well loved and played over the past 20 years. It's NO case queen, and has plenty of bumps and bruises. But, plays and sounds amazing. This old girl is an absolute cannon, with a beautiful and articulate voicing. She boasts a lovely Adirondack with a classic sunburst finished top along with some very striking Honduran mahogany for the back and sides. K and K pure equipped which is a favorite of ours here, its suuuuuch a great pickup system! This guitar has some minor nicks and bumps here and there, and a small amount of hazing in the finish on the lower bout where the players arm rests while playing, please photo's for details. We tried to capture all the blemish marks in this listing and got all the "major" ones so speak, but overall it's cosmetic and common play wear. No breaks or repairs found that have been done in the past and none detected that need to be addressed either. Purchase includes a proper setup and restring from our in house luthiers if you desire. For those who are very particular about the cosmetics, please request more photo's if you need to see something in closer detail. It's no problem at all!

The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, they bring a tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar.
