If you've ever played a fine vintage guitar, you know how two things jump out at you immediately: 1) they're often quite light, and 2) they display a big, vibrant tone. Martin is one of several makers in pursuit of re-creating vintage lightness and big tone with pinpoint accuracy. Their OM-28 Authentic 1931 is a perfect example, of a wonderful recreation of Martin's best yester-years!

We would like to note that on the back side of the guitar there is some separation of the binding coming off the body of the guitar. In the last two photo's you can see that in both waist location the binding has started to separate. There is also a thin hair line crack that is easy to overlook if not for inspecting the guitar very closely. The crack can be seen in the 3rd to last photo of this listing. It's about a quarter of an inch long that run through the inner ring of the rosette, just below the Low E string. These are the major imperfections of an otherwise very fine acoustic for your consideration. Besides that she also exhibits signs of normal/ light playing like swirl marks on the pick guard and some small dings as would be expected. They hard to see unless light hits it just right. Essentially, we encourage those who are particular about the cosmetics, to please request more photo's if you need to see something in closer detail, or if you'd like to see all the small dings that we detect, It's no problem at all!
