Very cool Surf Green P-Bass that almost left the factory in Candy Apple Red, as this guitar ages and gets played more it's going to look amazing when more of that red starts to come through from underneath. Similar to how the Fender Custom Shop now-a-days does this deliberately! Kind of a rare bird, these don't come up for sale in this finish very often, and in our research could not find any besides ours here that are currently being offered for sale, only sold results found, so don't miss your chance when it's gone another may not come around for some time! The neck was made by legendary Fender USA neck shaper Herb Gastelum! Herbie Gastelum was to necks what "Queen of Tone" Abigail Ybarra was to pickups - the indisputable "King of Feel." The '57 Reissue Precision P Bass is revered for its vintage-style design and tonal characteristics. It pays homage to the original 1957 Precision Bass, capturing its iconic look and sound. This bass delivers a punchy, rich tone with excellent low-end definition, making it a preferred choice for various genres, from rock and blues to funk and beyond.

This guitar is 38 years old, and has been gently played off and on over that time so it is not cosmetically perfect, but is absolutely in very good condition for it's age. but The neck is straight, ensuring a comfortable playing experience, while the maple fingerboard adds a touch of warmth to the overall tone.
